Currently On The Bench - BSA Bantam D7This Bantam was bought as a project and never started. I then bought it and it would would be fair to say it's in a bit of a state but at least it starts and runs.
The bike has been stripped down and the frame stripped and repainted in good quality, high solids 2 pack acrylic paint.
The engine has been completely stripped and rebuilt with new main bearings, gearbox bearings, gear change spring, oil seals and gaskets. The barrel has been rebored and a new piston, rings, gudgeon pin and circlips fitted.
The engine and frame are now reunited. The bottom yoke, with new bearings, has also been fitted.
The freshly painted shocks, fork shrouds and headlamp cowl have been fitted. The forks have been refurbished with new bushes, oli seals and fresh oil. All new stainless fasteners have been used and the original handle bars have been rechromed and refitted.
The Wheels, Mudguards and Wiring are now complete.
The wait is over!
