Whether its a complete new loom, an existing loom refurbishing or refitting or a problem troubleshooting.
Classics reborn may be able to help.

We can build a new loom from scratch using latest specification thinwall cable together with either standard connectors or more modern connectors.

We can refurbish you existing loom by cleaning, reterminating, resleeving etc. Or can refit the loom on your bike.

We can add indicators to your bike or if you are building a one off special or race bike we can make a custom loom.

We can also carry out conversions from 6V to 12V systems.

Below are some photographs of a current new loom being built for one of our own bikes, a BSA A7 Shooting Star swinging arm model. We have built a loom from scratch with a dedicated earth line running the full length of the bike thereby eliminating the most common problem with classic bike electrics - Bad Earths. The loom has been made in place on the bike leading to a much neater and tidier result, there is not the usual clump of wires in the toolbox.

All the cabling is thinwall, high performance cable. We have used standard bullet terminals crimped onto the cable together with braided sleeve with heat shrink on the ends.

This bike will be fitted with a 6V dry cell battery which makes for better electrical performance and easier mounting.

In this case the standard electro-mechanical voltage regulator has been refurbished and retained but we can fit solid state units, either stand alone or in the original voltage regulator box to retain the authentic look.
