1979 Series 1 Laverda Jota

This is a 1979 series 1 Laverda Jota.

Again this was a good bike mechanically, but it had been used, as it should be, and was beginning to look a little the worse for wear. Primarily the frame was scruffy and this was the main reason for the rebuild.

The correct colour codes for the paint were supplied by Slater laverda and sourced from a local vehicle refinishing specialist. The frame was painted in house with base coat and a 2 pack acrylic clear lacquer.

The wheels and frame fitments were similarly painted.

The bike was then rebuilt using 90% original parts.

The results were superb and the bike is what I would call concourse
