1979 Yamaha SR500 Cafe Racer

After years of abuse and neglect this 1979 SR500 Yamaha came into the workshop, it had been a winter hack for many years and it seemed ready for the scrap heap.

We were challenged to “do something special with it - but I don’t want to spend a fortune!".

Mechanically these bikes are strong which is just as well, the engine only needed minor work.
